The Harris brothers along with Dad developed our prototype machine some 28 years ago. Gold prices and interest in gold mining shot up about that time. We were working on a gold property that had much fine gold but were unable to get a good recovery on it with the several methods we tried. We put our heads together and the Harris concentrator was born. It s ability to catch fine gold exceeeded our greatest expectations. We eventually created several sizes or models and each had the uncanny ability to catch fine gold that other methods of mining was unable to. We manufactured and sold our equiptment for several years until gold prices as well as interest in mining declined. With gold prices back up, and up to stay this time, we started our business again. My Dad has gone on but the rest of the brothers remain hence the name: Brothers.
